We survived Justin and Jenna's parties!
Whew....glad that is over for another year! :) We had great fun party ideas and lo and behold what do we do? Why slumber parties again of course! I always swear after each one no more. lol However, they really were not that bad! Justin had 5 friends over last weekend for his party. They stayed up until about 5:30am playing halo. I think they literally fell asleep playing. Then when the first mom showed up at 9am......they were not the least bit interested in getting up. Justin proceeded to play all day, but was out about 7 and slept all night. I don't know how they do it! Last night Jenna had 6 girls spend the night for her party. I painted 7 pairs of toes, 7 pairs of nails and we had a Jonas Brothers dance party. Whew........girls. That's about all I can say about that! They did go to sleep much earlier- about midnight.......however when my alarm went off at 6:45 they were all up giggling and were on the trampoline by 7. Jenna was in a parade this morning for her gym and we had to be there by 9........so all the moms (with 1 dad thrown in), got here right on time and off we went to the parade. The kids all had a blast and got tons of candy, and now of course want to go to more parades! We ate lunch and Steve and Justin headed to Athens to the UGA-Bama game. They aren't exactly looking so great, but they got tickets and they are having fun. Hey-the Gators lost today so at least something good happened!

It's been a few weeks since we have posted, but all is well here. The kids are all loving school and doing well. Jillian is loving preschool! She runs right in and is never ready to leave. I am so glad she likes it.....I'll admit I was a little worried about it.
Jenna and Justin had their birthdays last week. Jenna is now 8 and Justin is 11....WOW, where does the time go?!?!? I can't believe they are so old! Justin will be in middle school next year! In only 10 short years they will both be off to college! Crazy stuff I tell you. Anyway, Justin's party is Saturday and Jenna's is next Saturday.
We went back home last weekend to go to the USC-UGA game. It was so HOT, but we had a great time with Dugan and his friend Amy. We got tickets at the last minute for a great price and all enjoyed the game. I haven't been to Williams Brice in so many years, but it was just as great as I remembered it! :) We have been to many GA games since I had last been to Carolina. Man, I don't think I've been to the Carolina stadium since I was a student there, and I can tell you that has been a long time! But I will admit, Sanford Stadium is just as great and I love going to Athens too! In fact, I think we will be there next weekend for the Alabama game!
A totally different subject, but I finally found a Wii Fit!!!!! We have been having a GREAT time with it! I will tell you though...my back and neck were hurting yesterday and I couldn't figure out why........until I remembered I had hula hooped on the Wii Fit the night before. I promise you will work muscles you didn't even know you had on those games!
On a closing note, please keep Steve's brother Eddie in your prayers as he is now down in Louisiana helping out with hurricane duty. We're not sure where he will be sent yet, but he drove down last night and is now just waiting on a duty station. Not to mention I am sure we are all still thinking of all who were affected by Gustav and Ike.
Have a great week everyone!

Happy 50th Birthday Eddie! It's Steve's brothers birthday today! We have birthdays in the family and close friends circle for the next 5 days! The beginning of September is crazy for birthdays!
The kids started back to school last week and all went well for the most part! Homework was heavy for Justin, but everyone is enjoying their new teachers and all 3 of them knew kids in their classes. Other then that, we are staying busy, busy with extra curricular activities as well. Jenna of course has cheerleading and then she has tap, ballet and jazz. The boys are both doing karate and loving it. Joshua is also getting ready to start lacross this week. Not sure if Justin is doing it to or not. I started an adult tap class last week at Jenna's dance studio too. It was a great blast from the past and I have to admit, most of it came right back to me. It was alot of fun!
Well, we hope everyone has a fantastic week!
